 What to Bring

A lot of comfortable attire (exercise clothes, swimwear, sportswear, sneakers) and perhaps, a party wear outfit or two. Don’t forget to bring shampoo, soap, lotion, sunscreen and other sundries. In September, we are expecting daytime temperatures in the 70’s, while evening temperatures may drop to the low 50’s, so pack appropriately. We provide towels! But wait, there are goodie bags… but just to be sure.

 General Program Outline www.SurviveAndThriveToday.com

  • After you go through the agenda, you’ll see our conference is more experiential and less of a ‘speaker-fest.’ Besides our 3 keynote speakers, we’ll have 3 separate Q&A panel sessions of about 1 hour in length, where investors and mentors/speakers are provided an opportunity to share their expertise with participants. (Please note, the agenda will be
    subject to last minute changes.)
  • We will have one of these Q&A panels on Saturday and two on Sunday; the main opportunity for investors and other speakers/mentors to present and answer questions from the audience.
  • In addition, there will be 3 mastermind workshops (about 2 hours in length), facilitated by investors/speakers/mentors.
  • Each facilitator will lead the mastermind workshops and give each of the participants a chance to practice their pitches and bring up their main challenges to get the feedback and support from the other members in their small group.
  • Facilitators will also lead the group activities on Saturday, gamification with the amazing outdoor activities that reinforce a “practicum”, if you will. In other words, many of the chosen activities simulate a real life challenge a business may face (teamwork, decision-making, leadership, etc.) We will provide more details regarding this before the event.
  • During the Sunday investor pitch finale, we will follow the Keiretsu Forum format (a 7-minute pitch and 7-minute Q&A/discussion) – in which case we’ll have time to have around 10 finalists in front of our 5 main judges (TBD.) Should be intense! (Please submit your info before you attend https://surviveandthrivetoday.com/2017/pitch-contest/ )
